    Showcasing extraordinary emerging Native American artists and artisans in the Four Corners area of the Southwest in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah and southern Colorado region, in a wide range of fine arts and arts & crafts mediums. All artists on this site have deep community ties to reservations and pueblos in the region and offer unique interpretations of culture in traditional and contemporary arts.

    Tony Abeyta is a mixed media artist. After painting for many years he has incorporated jewelry making into his media. His work is heavy influenced by the New Mexico landscape.

    Joe Ben Jr. is recognized as a artist that has mastered sand painting. His work is in the Smithsonian and the Pompidou Center in Paris.

    Sally Black is known world wide for her baskets. She comes from a family of famous basket weavers including her mother Mary Holiday Black.

    Arnold Clifford is a field botanist and associate editor for the Bolack San Juan Basin Flora Project. He did his first two years of college at San Juan College and completed his B.S. in Geology at Fort Lewis College.

    Ramona Emerson is a filmmaker. She got her degree from the University of New Mexico in Media/Cinematic Arts in 1997. She is currently working on her latest documentary, Gambling With Our Future.

    Jolonzo Goldtooth

      fashion designer

    Jolonzo Goldtooth is an up and coming fashion designer that creates with a contemporary Native American influence. He was invited to NYC fashion week earlier this year and plans on going back in the Fall for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. 

    Eugene B. Joe is another great sand painter. He started his career as an apprentice to his father, James C. Joe, who a pioneer in the sand painting art form.

    Keno Zahney

    Keno Zahney is a contemporary Navajo artist. He is inspired by childhood memories and other artists.

    Johnson Yazzie

    Johnson Yazzie graduated with a B.A. in Fine Arts Studio from the University of Northern Arizona in 2002. His work is heavy influenced by the Flemish Dutch Masters.

    Gerald Lomaventema is a Hopi metalsmith. He works with both traditional Hopi overlay and tufa cast elements.

    James B. King is a realist painter. He does the Heard and the SWAIA juried shows.

    Roy Kady is a master weaver working with the Navajo-Churro sheep that he raises. He was selected to represent the Navajo Nation as a cultural ambassador to Ecuador last year and has been invited back next year.

    James Joe is a painter. He quotes, "My style of art is contemporary expressionism." His work is heavy influenced by Navajo women. He has done murals all over the Southwest.
